Aaron Industries Corp. has announced the expansion of its USFDA “Letter of No Objection” issued on October 18, 2018 for a Polypropylene/High Density Polyethylene Blend. The LNO was issued in response to Intertek’s Prenotification Consultation submittal PNC 2231.
Intertek conducted a Self Determination for the safe use of the ARPP200‐NOL BLEND consisting of post‐consumer polypropylene (PP) / high density polyethylene (HDPE) materials, which are safe for use in contact with all food types under Conditions of Use: B through G …
Intertek developed the strategy to expand the FDA LNO, in order to be able to recycle 100% post‐consumer PP/HDPE Blend as the final product, and ensure that it is safe for it’s intended end‐use, in accordance with FDA regulations.
